Sean Casey is a JD candidate at Yale Law School, where he is especially interested in studying novel political and government reforms. He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, graduating with honors and Phi Beta Kappa.
Sean most recently worked as the chief of staff at the Center for American Progress. He also served as deputy chief of staff and executive secretary at the White House Domestic Policy Council, and as press secretary for then-Rep. Elissa Slotkin on her 2022 reelection campaign.
Sean grew up in South Bend, Indiana. His first job in politics was booking travel for Pete Buttigieg's presidential campaign. In his free time, he runs, writes, plays board games, and tries to keep up with frankly too many rating apps.
