Brian Reyes is a JD candidate at Yale Law School where he plans to study the law’s relationship to economic policy. He received a BA in History from Yale University, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and master's degrees in social policy and U.S. History from the University of Oxford, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.

Most recently, Brian worked on financial regulatory issues as a congressional fellow and staffer. He has also provided technical assistance on community and economic development strategies, conducted and presented historical research on race and economic inequality, and written reports and newsletter columns on related issues. He will use his law degree to shape policies fostering dignity and economic empowerment.

Brian grew up between East Harlem and the Bronx in New York City in a Dominican-American family. He enjoys running, making coffee, and from time to time playing a pickup game of ultimate frisbee or soccer.
