Anna Duffy is a JD candidate at Yale Law School whose academic and professional work has centered on expanding economic opportunity, combating climate change, and strengthening democratic institutions. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a BA in Government and a secondary in Economics. At Harvard, she served as President of the Institute of Politics and received the Charles Joseph Bonaparte Prize for the highest academic standing in Government. As a student, she took a gap semester to work on the 2020 Biden campaign in Pennsylvania and the 2021 Senate runoff campaigns in Georgia.

After college, Anna joined the Biden Administration, serving as a Policy Advisor at the White House National Economic Council and a Special Advisor in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce. In those roles, she helped advance historic federal investments in American manufacturing, clean energy, and economic development. Most recently, she was an Associate at Molecule Ventures, an investment firm focused on environmental compliance markets. Across these experiences, Anna has explored how government, markets, and communities can work together to expand economic opportunity and tackle complex societal challenges.

In her free time, Anna enjoys baking birthday cakes for friends, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and training for her next marathon as she works toward completing the World Marathon Majors. She also serves as an academic mentor with the A Better Chance Program and previously taught fifth-grade civics in Boston Public Schools.
